Finally!!! I "Got It"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I thought I'd post this in here as well for those people who dont go in the Immigration forum.
Its taken 18 long months and at times I never thought that I'd be posting this but finally we got the call from George aka "The Lombard" as Samantha refers to him!
It was around 5am this morning and to say that I was half asleep is an understatement! lol, I dont think I'll be going back to sleep now before I go to work this morning! Great timing too as I finish my job this Thursday!!
Before anyone congratulates me I just want to say a special thanks to George and his team, they have been fantastic throughout the whole process and I only wish that I'd instructed him from the beginning! I am eternally grateful!
Also I must thank a BE user who I dont see or hear from anymore, her username was "Lavinia" and without her I wouldn't have this visa, I initially failed my skills assessment twice because of bad advice from a previous agent and Lavinia replied to one of my posts on here and informed me what ASCO code I could use to get my skills positively asessed, and she was correct, I had the all clear within a couple of weeks! So I must thank her for that.
All of my friends on these forums have also been fantastic throughout, you know who you are and I want to thank you all for your support and help throughout this whole process, it really is like a family on here and I really hope that you all get your visa's very soon!
Its turning into a bloody oscar acceptance speech this!! lol
We're still waiting on the completion date of the house but hopefully that will be going through mid December and we can still get out to Perth before xmas but I'll keep you posted!
My timeline is as follows:
07/06/05 - 1st VETASSESS application submitted
24/03/06 - VETASSESS Positive (3rd Attempt! due to a crap 1st Agent!)
13/04/06 - 139 Application submitted by New Agent
18/04/06 - Acknowledgement date from ASPC
09/10/06 - CO assigned!
18/10/06 - Medicals done
19/10/06 - AOS Interview, PCC's & all other docs sent
01/11/06 - Meds at LCU
02/11/06 - Bond lodged
28/11/06 - Visa Granted!!!
Good luck to everyone else who is waiting!
