Final salary pension

Final salary pension - transfer to NZ??
I am fortunate to have a UK Company Final Salary Pension, and have about 8 years contributions. Have no other scheme or AVC topups.
My current thinking is that I should leave my money in the scheme, and that 8/60 x my leaving salary (adjusted for inflation) will be a nice little pension when I turn 60. This assumes lots of things, such as no significant changes in tax or pension regimes, income won't ever be double taxed, and the exchange rate stays about the same.
Does anybody else have a similar or different view on these circumstances, perhaps from your own experiences?
Thanks in anticipation for any advice given...

ps. I am going to NZ, and a) am not really interested in taking a lump sum amount at retirement, and b) would probably have to complete a UK tax return for the pension payouts.
