Default Filled your own container?

looking to do self fill of belongings mainly because all our stuff is already packed and in storage.

Anyone else done this, how did you get on with the following?:-

filling the container? how long does driver allow and how did you overcome height of container off the floor as on trailer?

did you get any extra attention or inspection from customs or AQIS?

does container arrive at your address in Oz as filled by you (unless inspected)

if AQIS want to inspect did you go into port storage warehouse to find and open boxes they want to see?

any insurance issues, I've read total loss only but what if any odd boxes are stolen??

any other advice??

cheers

Can't help you on most of that as we used JM but check out Letton Percival for the insurance. They should be able to offer you the exact cover you want. You'll need to itemise everything but I didn't find that to hard, however I did have everything around me at the time.
