Interesting stats....where'd u get them?
I don't quite understand the death rate....whats that one about?
I also don't get the life expectancy, unless those are meant to be ages not percentages.

Death rate is the number out of a 1000 that can expect to die in a twelve month period for whatever reason.

For every 1000 babies born - this will be how many do not survive. THEY WILL DIE, stillbirths, premature, etc

I should imagine it is over a 12 month period.
When you take your 10% off 55 million in this country (maybe more) its about right don't you think.

No, that is the infant mortality rate. Death rate, is just a number of deaths for the entire population..
