Not content with turning parts of the Gold Coast into a vile high rise city they now have Tweed Heads firmly within target by funding an election camaign with over $300,000s in donations. Whilst not illegal the conficts of interest are blatant and by no means unique across Oz.

These are just the declared political donations. You can bet there were brown paper bags stuffed with cash or generous gifts involved too.

It's the same here in Perth where city councils are run by and for property developers.
