We are actually on over for a short trip in March and with two young kids in tow a curry night may be a little tricky, however we fly back for good on the 2nd April so the Easter get together may be a better one for us to go for.....especially as my wife is pregnant so I have permanent taxi service available for those "one to many Kingfisher" nights!

Cheers

Paul

HIYA,

Hmmm, not sure where we'll be based just yet. Think we're staying in a hotel in the CBD initially while we look for a place to rent ( tryin to find a house rental that'll accept our little pooch - should be interesting )
I used to live in Clifton Hill so hoping to end up there again just for the first 6 months when we rent.
Lookin forwads to that curry already and meetin up with a few familiar names.

Sounds good.:) Keep an eye open for a curry night soon after Easter, although it may not be curry, just whatever anyone fancies. If you have any particular preference....Indian, Thai, Viet, Italian, Greek, etc, get your voice heard soon:D

Clifton Hill is quite central, and we usually make the food nights fairly central to accomodate people from the four corners of the city.

I agree renting with dogs can be difficult, but it has been done. We knew a couple....laualollipop on here, who rented with 2 dogs....that was down Chelsea ways I think.

we will be brave and say we are up for a curry- bub will be 5 weeks old by then and we should know what we are doing (caring for her) by then!

She is not fussy about what type of food (as she will be joining us) but Mark and I are keen for Vietnamese or Indian...I am permanently hungry these days so already thinking about what to order!

Not been on expats fer some time now, shame really as i think you're all great!! Well hopefully we will be able to join you all for a curry night (being a Bradford lad i seem to have a liking for em lol). We may be busy 17th March but any other date suits us. Currently down on the penninsular and only a train ride away, so count us in please just keep us informed.
