Default family sponsorship

Can any one advise that if my husband is the main applicant for immigration to NZ, can we claim 3 points for family sponsorship as I have a brother who is a New Zealand resident.
Also can anyone advise if transferring a pension to NZ counts towards settlement funds.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I'm really pleased to find a thread on family sponsorship/regional skilled migration.
I too am being sponsored by my sister and I'm desperate to find out how quickly visas
are being processed for applications in this category.

I'm currently waiting for my skills assessment to come back from the ICAA as I'm an
accountant.

Can anyone advise how long I might expect to wait for:

a) the skills assessment (submitted early April)?
b) the visa once I lodge the application?

Grateful for any info...

Elaine
