Hi there,
Myself, partner (both 30) and our 8 year old son hope to move to north perth this side of Xmas, really keen to meet other families with kids around the same age (particularly with boys as my son is very much into being active and gaming so loves to be around other boys with similar interests!).
If there is still anyone active on this thread please get in touch! Thanks

Hi MarkandJo and Kevncarlz,
I should've perhaps named ourselves Daznchar!
Sounds great that already there are families out there willing to meet up! It's really helped me feel more excited about moving!
We are waiting for an outcome of our 190 visa application at the moment.
We plan to live in the joondalup, Connolly, currambine, ocean reef area.
My son will be leaving behind his cousins who he is very close to, so it's really important that I make a real effort to meet new people not just for him but for me too!
My partner and I both intend to work full time as long as we can find the work!
Where abouts do you all live and how long have you lived in perth?
Thanks for replying to my thread you've really made my day.x

Hi, we are new to Perth, been here since May and barely met anyone due to working! We've come from South Yorkshire. I'm 36 and my hubby is 37. We have 2 boys aged 6 and 8. My hubby is mountain/road biking mad (well fitness in general) where as I like to keep my mouth active and that's all! (I do like pilates though just not very skilled in it), I love coffee mornings once the kids are at school and breakfast, lunch meetings and general happy socialising. We'd love to meet like minded families just to make life more enjoyable and broaden our social circle to more than the 4 of us!! If any one on here fits the bill then please contact me. Ps we live in Kingsley. Thanks, Maria x

Everybody is so friendly, lovely! My sister moved from the UK and I always thought I'd never be brave enough but actually reading these posts you can settle anywhere with a handful of buddies xx

I'm still in the UK and started browsing just to help my sister but actually it looks really appealing! New start, new friends. I'm a hairdresser and health & wellness business developer, my fiancé is a senior quantity surveyor.....

Yes I first started to think about moving back in January and now I've now applied for visa. I just hope the move is all we hope it will be, new start, new friends etc.
I work in sport/leisure/fitness myself. I'm a business development manager, for aquatics, health and fitness and marketing plus sports manager! Complicated I know! Jack of all leisure trades! I also hope I find work OK as I have a good job here so don't want to be worse off!
Scarey but exciting!
