family cars in Oz, Turkeys and good runners
Hi,
Having not looked into models and makes of cars in Oz and with little time to buy when we arrive. We would be grateful for any advice and experiences on buying a family car around $15000.

The three Oz built family saloons are the Holden Commodore (under a half dozen different names,) the Ford Falcon, and the Mitsibushi Magna. They're all much of a muchness with plenty of available spares and support. Big, Roomy, and usually white and automatic.
I also understand now that bigger engines attract bigger rego fees, so that may be reflected in the purchase price.
