Default Faith restored... Perths still a bargain!

Woke up at about 3am last night and could hear the waves crashing..
Drove past the beach on the way to work it was stunning, pristine as far as the eye could see, surf was thumping (didnt have time to enjoy it though )
Just went out for lunch, sitting outside in Subi, what an awesome day....
Doesnt matter what it costs or what it used to cost or what it costs in the future, Id buy whatever I could afford to be able to call this place home.
Steve

Yes, sadly I'm missing the "granny" - I'm spending the whole day setting fire to the beautiful Australian countryside.

I'm even tempted to dip a toe in the pool.......it feels OK when I poke my hand in.......

Today is GORGEOUS! The first morning when I've left the house to take the kids to school and it felt warm as soon as I stepped outside the front door. Yum.

A big sacrifice there mate, a very worthwhile one though. Good on ya.
At least if we do win you'll have ample chance to catch the game over the next few weeks as it'll be the only thing on the box

Beautiful day. It hit 30.5c just before lunchtime. Let's hope it stays warm.

We've got some friends coming round tomorrow for the game, he's asked if he can bring his speedo's... I told him not to bother as anything he's got will shrivel up if he goes in so we wont see it anyway , it was just over 20C on the surface when I last looked, I bet 2M down its a fair bit colder.

If the Eagles win everyone in their pools at final siren

I don't think 3 months is a long winter! It was not really cold before June and now we are in Sept and we have already had quite a few warm days. I would say 9 months of cold UK weather is a long winter.

We didnt get a winter this year did we???
Although after last year im not overly optimistic todays weather will last till next May! It was fairly well into December before we got constant high 20's and above and clear blue days last year.
But fingers crossed.

I was asking long term Aussies at lunch time if this was the norm - they said that it was and last year was odd.
