is there any fabricator/welders heading for perth,or already there?just sent our application in,wandering what the job situation is like for my trade and what salary to be looking for?

Not a welder, but served my time as mechanical fitter. Out of my trade for a few years now, but still in the engineering / Oil and gas industry.

Perth is the oil and gas capital of Australia. There are a large number of fabrication facilities in the Perth area.
