I have seen extra points for SIR visa class mentioned from July.Can anyone tell me more about this?

It was announced in April or May that from July 1st if apply for SIR you will be able to claim an extra 10 points for obtaining sponsorship.

The full details have yet to be released by DIMIA.

We are waiting until July to apply for SIR as we need the extra 10 points.

It will likely be formally announced on the DIMIA website in July. In the meantime you should use the time productively by sorting out your skill assessment and a state nomination, also sorting out all the documentation that will be required. Use the form 47SK checklist as a guide.

Not yet-I had email from DImia confirming they have been told about the extra points for sponsorship,watching site daily! Booklet 6 will be updated-not yet though! Should be 1st July!!
