Re: Expat Tax Fraud!!
Good warning to all.
Do as I do with almost everything I get sent in the mail asking for personal info, call the number from the phone book rather than on the letter and get it confirmed.
Like the e-mails that come through from banks, you have to have rocks in your head if you follow their instructions.
I would too if moving overseas pay to have your mail re-directed from your old address for at least a year and make sure you tell everyone your new contact details. This buys you time to get all organisations informed. The amount of indentity fraud going on over here is scary and very easy to do.
