Exchanging Money HELP
I wonder if anyone can help I need to change some money for moving to Perth Australia .I have already set up a account with HIFX .Since then i have came accross anouther company http://www.currencies.co.uk/ .Has anyone used this company .I am moving over on the 25th June and my money will not be avalible till my house has sold on the 23rd June.I have also sent up a HSBC in Perth already .So all i need now is a good place to change my money and get the best rate .Currencies .co.uk said if i want to pre book the dollar rate i only have to pay 6% of toal deposit.HIFX want 10%.

Hi Barbie boy
We used HIFX and they didnt take 10% out, that is just the minimum amount you will need to give them if you wish to secure an exchange rate. I found them really helpful and they explained the process really well, at the moment if the bank is saying that the exchange rate is $2.54, then HIFX will give you less than that so you will get $2.53 for every £. I would highly recommend them.
