Default exchange rates today

Hi all,

Does anyone know why the exchange rates have gone up quite a bit today?
Any guesses as to if its gonna carry on going up - especially with the possible increase in AUS interest rates next week???

Any theories welcomed!

Denise

I certainly have no theories as to why they have changed.
I am not economically minded, although I do understand how much I can spend.

But if someone can send me the link so I can watch them going up & down that would be great. I might be able to learn to understand it.

Now our departure is imminent we are going to need this info

sorry, which way has it all gone?

I`m guessing you`re getting less $ to the £, which is actually good for us as we have to change some $ into £ soon so we can pay for getting back to Aus.
If you`re getting more $ for each £ then it`s not so good for us, but good for most of the others on this forum.

From Commonwealth Bank the rate is:

The exchange rate as at 9.00am on 25. February 2005 is GBP1=AUD2.4250 (indicative).
