Just got a shock when I checked, it's gone down to 2.61. Why?????
Oh I know, they've heard we're coming!
Fingers and toes crossed it goes up again soon!

As important as the exchange rate can be to some , I thought the the land of plenty was worth coming too regaurdless of what you have in your pocket? beaches great weather and you care about money how narrow minded .
As a few will tell you its great to to be poor here given the lifestyle , maybe you have not been taken in and need the comfort of a bank balance.

No, just not as rich as some coming and would like to be able to afford a roof over our heads!! Nothing too grand, but a home would be nice!!
