I need to transfer some sterling over to Oz and would appreciate any feedback on which companies are any good for rates,charges,reliablility, etc.

Ive registered with Hifx and on first dealings they seem ok but i have a nagging feeling that there is always a better deal around the corner !

Any tips greatly appreciated.

Hey Mark - if you do a search, this question was asked about a week ago in this forum, lots of companies were suggested i think. I'll see if I can find the link for you myself if I get chance.

I just used my hsbc bank in the UK to transfer over here, cost me about £10 in UK and should be $6 here but no-ones charged me for that so far. Even set up a fax authority for sending more over while we are here. Working OK so far, and no complaints and the rates are generally just as good.
