Excess Baggage
 

Hi all
We are flying to Sydney in 14 days (!!!)
I am taking my mountain bike which has been very well packed into a bike box but it means we will be approx 20kg overweight. Can anyone point me in the direction of an excess baggage company at Heathrow who have reasonable rates? Only quote I've had so far is for £150 which is not much less than paying Cathay £14 per kilo and they would take up to 3 weeks for it to reach Sydney!

Try Excess Baggage Company - offices in all the Heathrow & Gatwick terminals, so you can turn up there and deposit the bike. Can't remember the prices, but they were cheaper than normal airline excess,and the stuff arrived when they said it would!
