Excellent Restaurants and Eateries North of Perth
Hi
Can anybody please advise me its my partners aunties 80th birthday in a few days and we would like to take her out to a really nice restaurant, she lives in Edgewater.
Because I am so new to the area can anybody please advise me of any good restaurants or eateries please. I am not sure she would be into curry and chinese.
Any ideas would be very much appreciated.

Joondalup resort has a very good restaurant also Hippo Creek at Hillarys is very good if you like steak.

Very nice food in very nice surroundings with very good service!

If you want dead posh then Clarks at North Beach for sure. We eat at Mullaloo a lot and have never had a bad meal there. Can't say the same for Oscars at Currambine which I think is crap. Trendi Cafe on Reid in Joondalup is also very nice, haven't had a bad meal there either. Attivo at North Beach I agree is good and Mia Cuccina at Hillarys isn't half bad.

We don't eat out in Perth anymore, quality, price and service is shocking, it's a piss take. Restuarant food is from the 80's unless you go somewhere like Clarkes or Nobu and are prepared to take out a bank loan to pay for it.
Poor old Rob Broadfield from the Sunday Times tries his hardest to promote Perth's culinary culture but is quite clearly hitting his head against a brick wall.
