Evap Aircon Perth
Anyone recommend a good evap aircon in Perth.Has anyone got Bonaire or breezeair?

We have evap and I wouldn't ever recommend it for a number of reasons.
Firstly it doesn't cool you down hugely - so if you really get a stinking hot day and you wantto feel very cool - it won't happen (well, it doesn't happen in our house). This is personal preference but I like a cold bedroom on a hot summer's night.
Secondly, if it is very humid it won't work as well (because the system needs dry air to allow it to work effectively (have I got this right?))
Thirdly - in our house - it works by having vents which go from the ceiling to the open air via the loft. We have a poorly constructed roof which allows air in (but I think any roof would allow air in) so imagine what this does to your attempts to keep warm in winter at night in near freezing temperatures. You can close the vents but in our case it isn't at all effective. It's basically like having a hole in your ceiling.
I'd go for reverse cycle everytime - having experienced both.

Hi
We had air con put in 3 of our houses couple of years ago, Never had a prob with any of them all evap, think it was called Celair - trying to find paperwork at mo.
Need any other info, let me know

The air con is good too, but it does not get to our bedroom at the front of the house, but does the rest of the house, our house is big 5 bed. Its brill, im bloody roasting at the moment, have to turn it off.
