Evans Head NSW
Hello, does anyone know what Evans Head NSW is like?? how far away it is from surfers and brisbane?? is it just a small town?? We are a young couple wanting to start a family. any info would be appreciated thank you

Hi, it's been quite a few years since I've been down to Evans Head, but from what I remember, its a lovely little coastal town, about 50-60 k's southof Byron Bay. To Surfers, I would say probably about 1 1/2 to 2 hours, and to Brisbane, about 2 1/2 hours maybe a bit longer. Theres a major highway reconstruction happening at the moment near Tugun on the Gold Coast and when that is completed next year, the travelling times to the Gold Coast and Brissie should drop quite considerably.
