Hi,

I'm booked to go from Dublin to Melbourne on 20th April (2 adults and 3 children). I tried to checkin but it says I can't checkin online until 24hours before the flight.

I would like to make sure we get seats together (in a good location on the plance), but can't seem to do this until I check-in...is this right? Or should I be able to choose seats before checkin?

When we flew with them the travel agent assigned the seats when we booked the flight some 9 months in advance. One of the legs didn't have a very good choice of allocation. However on the 24 check in I managed to get a better arrangement.

Just saying just in case you don't get a good assignment when you call.

When I booked Etihad for my grandparents I was able to go to "manage booking" and in there was the option of seat selection. If that's not there then as above said just call them and they will do it for you, but before you call have a look at www.seatguru.com so you can see which seats you want.
