Default ETA for over 70

FIL wants to visit. I've been reading up on ETA and looks straightforward as I can do it for him. I understand he needs a medical certificate as he is over 70. Does he get the ETA and bring the certificate with him.

OR is he supposed to apply for a hard copy visa from AHC and send the medical certificate with the written application?

Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian

May I suggest a longer visit for the over 70's? You can get up to 12 months on the 676 visa, however 6 months on the same visa is possibly easier.

If you want details on how to apply, please PM me.

Cheers

Buzzy
