Hi guys,

Has anyone got any links for specifically Brisbane estate agents, rather than just Australia in general, like www.realestate.com.au.

I've noticed people have put links on this forum for specific estate agents in places like Perth, so just wanted some Brisbane action!

Thanks,

Gavin

Default Brisbane Estate Agents

Hi Gavin

Try:

www.rentalcentral.com.au (also known as the Brisbane Residential Tenancy Service)

www.dougdisher.com.au

www.lilleyrealty.com.au

www.watermansproperty.com.au

I've got loads more but they are very central Brisbane focused and if I remember I think you wanted to be a bit further out? Let me know if you need any more help, we're arriving in Brisbane on 29th September so are just about sorted (still only 1000 things o do!)

Cheers
Rachel

Rachel,

That's brilliant, thanks so much. We are actually VERY interested in central Brisbane stuff, near to the city centre as poss. I think I told you that we're staying when we land with my wife's cousin in Bald Hills, so that's probably you got the 'out-of-town idea' from!

If you could send me those links for more central Brisbane, that would be fantastic.

Late Sep? Not long now - you must be so excited!!! We actually leave the country on Sep 7 but are travelling around the States for 8 weeks - landing in Brisbane on Nov 2....can't wait!!!!

Thanks again,

Gavin

Default Estate Ahents Brisbane

Hi Gavin

Jayr beat me to it with some of my suggestions but here's some more, just in case. (Sorry if they are a bit biased in being near St Lucia but that's where I'll be studying and have been focusing my efforts). Ray White has offices all over the place for different suburbs.

St Lucia, Taringa, Toowong and Indooroopilly:

www.honeycombesproperty.com.au

www.innerwestrealty.com.au

www.pdixon.com.au

www.remax.com.au

www.rentalhotline.com.au

www.toowongfirstnational.com.au

Dutton Park, South Brisbane, West End and Fairfield:

www.century21.com.au/westend

www.drakos.net.au

www.ljhooker.com.au

www.metrofn.com.au

www.localre.com.au

www.raywhite.com

Milton, Auchenflower and Spring Hill:

www.harcourts.com.au

www.property.com.au

We are VERY excited about moving to Brisbane and are nearly sorted (only 1001 things left to do!) Good luck with your preparations and your trip around teh sataes, please don't hesitate to send me an e-mail or another post if I can be of any more help.

Cheers
Rachel

Those of you heading to Brisbane might be interested in reading this news article from today's Courier Mail

We love Brisbane - it's official

As someone who already lives here I can see why the study reached these conclusions - it is a fantastic city in which to live.

This is where all the whingers on the forum wake up and post loads of malicious crap about how I'm talking bollox and that you should not believe what you read because Brisbane is really Satan's armpit and you'd be much better off in South Croydon.

Thanks for that post etlniwd, I have forwarded it on to everyone I know to calm their nerves about this city at the other side of the world!

I did a search on the forum on Brisbane earlier and it was full of people saying its boring, can't wait to go home etc and it dampened my spirits a little bit. Its wonderful to hear someone praising Brisbane instead.

Cheers!
