Can someone please give me some ideas of what the British GCSE/A Level/BTEC NVQ equivalents are in Australia please? Also how much do employers put in store against formal qualifications compared to experience and knowledge?

I would be interested to know this as well. My daughter finishes her A levels in June and is wanting to look at going to Uni next year in Perth so I too would be interested how you can work out the equivalents please?
