Enrolled Nurse Training Sydney/NSW
Has anyone here had experience in trying to get into the enrolled nurse training programme in NSW?
I have been told by West Sydney Health it is very difficult to get a placement due to shortages. Does anyone know if it would be easier up on the central coast or other areas of NSW?

I was accepted at Royal North Shore Private Hospital, St Lenoards NSW back in 2000 but we had planned to move away from the area by then. Looked into the Central Coast in 2003 - places offered every 4 months or so.

Thanx for that Merlot. You have lifted my spirits a bit. I am worried that theres so many applicants I could spend years trying to get accepted. When I spoke to the lady on the phone in West Sydney she made it sound as if its a lottery getting in at all.
Maybe its just the city and urban Sydney that has this problem. I shall investigate further north.
