English language skills for native speakers
Hi,
What proof of English language skills is deemed sufficient for native speakers from the UK ? Do we have to do the IELTS stuff ? |
Re: English language skills for native speakers
Hi Ian,
There was a thread about this a couple of months ago. Try search on "english". Anyhow, the gist was that if you have a degree or school qualification from a UK school/university, that was sufficient proof of english language ability. One of the experts expanded on this a bit further in the posts I mentioned. Don't need to do IELTS stuff. Good luck. Nigel db |

For NZ GCE O' Level English is sufficient i.e. proof of english study for 5 years in secondary school.

If you're from the UK you're unlikely to be asked for IELTS as part of the
migration process. Jeremy >On 3 Apr 2002 15:05:07 GMT, iancurtis <[email protected]> wrote: >Hi, > >What proof of English language skills is deemed sufficient for native speakers from >the UK ? Do we have to do the IELTS stuff ? > > > >-- >Posted via http://britishexpats.com |
