Default Engineers Australia Assessment.............how long?

Hi,

We have just sent off our skills assessment to Engineers Australia and wondered if any of you could give us some idea of how long they generally take to get back to you??

Thanks

KayC

How are you applying? If you have to do a CDR then it will take alot longer. My husband applied under the Washington Accord and it only took 1 month (that includes mailing time). I think it only took them about a week to actually process it.

Here's our timeline:
May 1 - Documents mailed.
May 9 - Receipt mailed out from IEAust,
May 19 - Received receipt in the mail in Canada
May 17 - Approval letter sent out
May 24 - Approval letter arrived in Canada on May 24th.

Have a look here for other timelines:

Thanks Hayley,

My husband has applied under the Sydney accord, without a CDR.

I'll keep my fingers crossed it comes back as quickly as yours did.

Thanks again,

KayC

Same here - about a month all in, though again that was over 2 years ago.

Thanks Mick,

We're in Milton Keynes and my husband is in electronics. Fingers crossed if everything goes to plan we're planning on going to Melbourne.

How about you?

Thanks,
KayC
