Hi everyone, i havent been on her for a while but still fully embracing & enjoying our life here is Brisbane.
We have some friends that have to return to the Uk just after Christmas unless he can find himself another sponser in the Engineering field. He is a qualified & experienced Project Manager specialising in Rail & bridges.
Does anyone know of any jobs going that would suit at all? Or any suggestions on what they can do as they all love living here ( since May 2012) & thier 2 children love thier scholls etc & they now have nothing to go back to in the Uk. They are desperate for any help, suggestions or ideas on how they can stay here.

I'm assuming from the way you've written that he/they are on a 457 not PR, so it has to be a job offering sponsorship? As opposed to just a straight job offer?

Design, construction or maintenance?

Going to struggle regardless, people being laid off everywhere. I'm in the rail design side and on a 457 and I'm making moves for Hong Kong or abu dhabi, plenty of work on UK as well

Yes they are on a 457 sponser visa & need a new Compant to Sponser him

Can't he just apply for PR already?? Maybe with State sponsorship?

I am a new grad with 3 years work experience and got PR in 3 weeks offshore from the UK.
