Engineer Networking Post
thought I would suggest a post to see who are Engineers from any trade.
Such as fitters, maintenance, sparks, techs, chartered engineers etc,
Wondering what companies you are targeting, where you are targeting and what realistic salary you want to achieve.
I keep hearing lots of stuff like , you'd walk into any job,
Also are there any relocation packages people have heard of, and if so what has been negotiated.
A friend of mine relocated to karaatha, relocated him from Sydney, he gets accomodation and is clearing $6k a month.....

I'm a fitter by trade (machine tool) I now work in a high speed high volume industry,far removed from my training.
I'd look at similar work but to be honest i really want to get out of engineering all together,quite fancy being a postie or an estate agent
I Dont know what my chances are of retraining in Aus.I'll do any sort of work really,...not fussy me
I hear that if you earn A$50/60,000 ish you should be ok (as long as the missus can earn a few bucks aswell)
Any job offers out there ??
