Hi thewoods from West Yorkshire
What sort of job are you after? Most listings are online now if you find the right site. Are you finding Oz application difficult? How far are you along?
Cheers from Leeds.

The West Australian http://www.thewest.com.au is the paper. Saturdays and t a lesser extent Wednesday (I would think are the days).
Websites http://www.seek.com.au and http://www.jobsearch.gov.au - there are others.
Know that the online job databases attached to the papers reflect a different range of jobs to the printed paper.

Hi,
The job agencies are a waste of time, when we got here we went around every job agency and were put on their books (that was 5 weeks ago) we have not heard nothing.
Hubby started work on 10th April, what we did was to bring over approx 50 cvs get the local yellow pages (free from any post office) then we went around to all the companies in hubbys line of work (fitter/turner).
We were told by the locals don't go to the agencies, go to the local pub's as you will have more chance of finding a job there.
