Default Employer sponsored nightmare!

Well,we did the deed and took the employer sponsored route, what a nightmare!
Know what the workhouse was like now!ll
Every bank holiday I'm in work, late home,if you can call a rented hellhole home, pays poor and it's bloody cold!
Roll on December,back to sanity!
The beach is great, countryside wonderful, but this bloody job has killed it for us,advice be very careful of employer sponsored offers!
20 years in my trade now treated like a year 1 apprentice again
So save.save save for 10 months!

Are you PR sponsored, or business sponsored? because if you're PR sponsored they don't "own" you, you can go and look for another job.

Regarding working bank holidays, and other "nightmare" work stuff, check out the Industrial relation laws for your state - you can download the act from the relevant sites . Some employers will take advantage of you given half the chance - it's well worth knowing your rights in the workplace.

(for people in Queensland , as laws can differ a wee bit from state to state http://www.wageline.qld.gov.au/index.html)

cheers
