Have avery comfortable flight and please let us know what Emerates are like I was thinking of using them later in the year but did not have information on their comfort and entertainment etc. Bon Voyage PS by the way don't forget to go to the night safari at the Singapore zoo very good trip.

Going with Emirates on 7th April from London to Melbourne. Only going for a fortnight, chose April for the weather. Went last August and spent a fortune on new coats for 4 of us ! Please tell me it will be above 18c?

We were going to fly Cathay but need to pop in to KL on the way through. Have heard good things so you should have a great flight - same with Qantas.

Did you here about extra security check in requirements for Heathrow? Now with the extra stop over in Stanstead?

Heard through work colleagues that check in was extended by an hour through heathrow - but this might also be related to the bunsfield depot fire. Heard that some flights take off from Heathrow and land at Stansted to refuel before any long hauls - The US flights are definitely coming in with heavy loads because they are getting alittle irate with BAA, because it is costing them to carry the extra fuel.

I commute through Gatwick each day and have seen a regular presence of armed police around the place.

Flying through Gatwick on a regular basis have seen no major delays. Just the normal 10 or 20 minute (because the pilot wants to take a last toilet stop).

I flew from Heathrow 2 weeks ago back to Brisbane and it certainly took a lot longer than normal, they are being a lot more through.
