I e-mailed singapore airlines and asked them how much baggage we could take. They replied no problem, I can't see that emirates wouldn't

We are flying with Emirates. Booked through Ebookers and had to supply copies of visas to get a 40kg allowance per person.

I have spoken to Emirates since to confirm a few issues, including the 40K allowance.

I suggest you speak to whoever you made your booking with. Failing that call Emirates direct. Like I said we have a 40K per person limit which is more than enough, so you should be okay on this.

The only thing I am wondering is that you state you are flying from Singapore with Emirate. Am I to assume you are flying to Singapore with somebody else? If so, you will also need to find what limit they have with concern to migrant baggage. Bit confused by that, please confirm what you have planned.
