Question Emigration Specialists

I've been told that by using 4 corners emigration service I can be in NZ in 6 months. Are they a reputable firm or a real rip off merchant? Can anyone suggest another firm or is it just as easy doing it alone?Any info will be of great help!

Do a search of the past threads for 4 corners and four corners. There are mixed opinions.
Check the other forum aswell (immigration rather than lifestyle)

As NZ has an unregulated immigration industry anyone can call themselves an 'immigration consultant'. Before using a NZ immigration consultant it is best that you check that they are a member of the New Zealand Association for Migration & Investment (NZAM). The NZAMI web site has a list of members: www.nzami.co.nz

Yes, for NZ it's very straightforward to apply for Gen Skills PR without an agent. NZIS case officers are helpful and if you make mistakes in your application will not automatically reject it but will contact you, explain what they require and ask you to give them more information/ evidence.

Having said that, we used an agent and could recommend them if you send me a private message. But we would also not have used an agent if we'd found this forum first and hadn't been so nervous.

What visa are you applying for and how many points have you got?

Cheers - Don
