applying for and receiving a UK passport while not having residential address
Hello B. Expats,
A question. Has anyone (in Aus.) applied for and received a UK passport renewal while not having an actual residential address because they were living in a vehicle at the time, e.g. travelling?
Though it's not the normal procedure, the UK passport office do mention (in the Notes) that a postal address can be used as an alternative for receipt of the passport; though an explanation is required for that option. Has anyone experienced difficulties in connection with such a situation in relation to the acceptance of their application?

Alternatively get an Aus P O Box somewhere and tell them its because you are travelling. You'll just need to stay in that area til it arrives. I used a P O Box for mine as the mail in my unit mailbx regularly gets stolen, I just told them that!
