Emergency Teachers
We are heading over to Sydney on a working holiday visa shortly, my partner is a secondary school teacher in the UK and will be looking for emergency / relief teaching whilst we are there.
She has received certification from the NSW education authority granting her permission to teach, and is registered with the following site:
http://www.teach.nsw.edu.au/
I've come across the site below:
http://www.emergencyteachers.com.au/
There is a $207 registration fee for the service, it says it's one of the best resources for working holiday visa teachers as well. Does anyone have any opinions on this? Is it worth the money?
Thanks,

Re: Emergency Teachers
I know a lot of local people who are looking for casual teaching work in the Sydney area, but I have never heard of this site. Either it is an undiscovered gem, or a waste of time.
To get casual work in the NSW public (govt) school system, you need to put in an application to NSW Education & Communities.

Chances of success depend very much on subject and area.
