Default Emailing employers for 457

Hi

Can anyone tell me if this will work please ?! We can't get into Oz on a PR cause hubby has no quals, so we do need a sponsor! Just wondered if anyone emailed employers directly through seek.com.au and found a sponsor!

Thanks in advance

Thanks for your reply Bix!

He's a Product Manager in IT - but he also has Purchasing experience and years in Sales with some Marketing thrown in too! All in all he has 10 years experience in all of the above jobs.

Thanks for the link, I think I've tried there before but will give it another bash lol

I'm going to suggest you start a thread on the immigration forum here.....
http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=32

Give them the details of his work and experience and ask for advice on what type of visa may be an option.

There are other types of visas that MAY be open to you like SIR or STNI but I don't know a lot about them.

BTW I came here on a 457 and converted it to an RSMS PR visa. I have no qualifications and was overage so all is not lost.

I don't wish to give you false hopes though and that is why I think you should post on the immigration forum for some overall advice from the agent type people.

Good luck
