I have printed off something called PARTNER VISA APPLICATION CHECKLIST.

Underneath General Requirements it lists 'Form 886 Settlement Details'.

I cannot find this form anywhere - can somebody help me.

Thanks - my computer here at home is so old it won't open the form - but I will be able to do so tomorrow at work.

Incidentally I went back into the Dept of immigration website just to see how I had missed the form. I had a look under Forms in the numerical section again and also under the alphabetical list this time and did a search and came up with nothing. All very user friendly!!

This form is not compulsory. We were sent one after my hubby's visa had been granted and you don't need to fill it in at all.

We didn't send one when we applied for his visa and had no problems. His visa was granted last summer.

I had a good look at your FAQs when I first found this website and I have to say it was very helpful in answering a lot of things I was worried about or did not have a clue about.

i have to confess I did forget about it this time - but I will look next time something else crops up.

If an answer can be found in the FAQ, you actually save yourself the time and effort of having to post a question and wait for a reply.

The FAQ doesn't have all the questions, but it does have some usual ones.
