Electrician Perth Not Wanted??

Electrician Perth Not Wanted??
Heard some worrying news from a friend that they have been turned down by DIMIA to go to Perth as electricians are not wanted there - been told that they can apply to Queensland!!!
I was wondering if anyone else had heard this, we are with an agent but they havent told us that this is the case and I only spoke to them on Monday..
Anyone else got any info on this.
Im feeling quite concerned about this now!!

Arrrrr...................but did your friend try to apply as State Nominated for Perth?

ok spoke to agent - think my friend has got it totally worng, as as I cant manage to delete this post will have to leave it here!!!
