Default Electrical Appliances and Furniture

We have been looking for furniture and electrical appliance shops in brisbane to furnish our home when we move. Does anyone know of reasonable places that we could try.

Hi Sprug

There is a colossal Ikea in Logan, which is just a few miles south of Brisbane. You might also want to try Super Amart. http://www.superamart.com.au/

For electrical kit Harvey Norman or Domayne.

Cheers

We used Clive Anthony's for electrical (well we went to the Good Guys then did price match with Clive Anthony's) the staff were both helpful in both and delivery and everything we bought from Clive Anthony's was delivered quickly and has been great.

Super Amart, Freedom, Harvey Norman, Ikea (and all the shops next to it) give you lots of options from cheap to expensive - and we saw a few interesting bits in Aussie Living the other day and I like the furniture in Apollo Homemaker. To be honest there seems to be hundreds of furniture shops but definitely shop around we bought a bed in Apollo that was twice the price in other shops just up the road. For outdoor furniture its worth looking in Bunnings if you're on a budget - if not then try Outdoor Living.

It depends on what you mean by reasonable. I would steer clear of Super Amart by several hundred metres and save up for something better you won't be replacing one year down the line. Don't bother with a dining suite, get a patio suite instead and use it inside until you can afford something good for indoors. I prefer Clive Peeters to the others mentioned but it depends on what the shops are like near you. Clive Anthony near us is shit! Check everywhere out and haggle.
