Exclamation Electric v/s Gas Heating Bills ...

Hi all,
Just thought to ask a basic question which is making me think about it.
I have seen an apartment fitted with all Electrica stuff - Heating panel, gas stoves, oven and even Water Heater...
I been talking to others they told be that Gas is most cheaper options.
I am confused, hence i was thinking:
1. What would be the delta of cost for Gas v/s Electic heating (include water heating too)
2. If I opt to go for ths apt. can i install Gas line, if yes, whats the cost of installation of Gas in a apt where there is none.

Thanks for your help and feedback.

Regards,
Mamoo

Many areas do not have gas lines.
The option would be to have gas cylinders, and have them filled on a regular basis.

We have gas bottles. One lasts us 6 months and costs just $130. The gas supplies the hob and all hot water for a family of four. I think this is excellent value and would use this option over piped gas or electric.
