Default electric toothbrush from uk in oz

This maybe a silly question but i just ordered a couple of oral b pro 3000 toothbrushes on amazon for a deal on yesterday, saving like $70 plus if buying two here at cheapest place.
Never really thought of it but came across some posts maybe on this forum or others about issues with adaptors.
My question is has anyone taken over there electric toothbrush and had issues getting an adaptor or has anyone purchased one from uk and again had same issues?
I believe this electric toothbrushes come with two pin plug,as in the uk, bathrooms come or people can only fit these in there bathrooms.
But here in oz they have normal australian plugs and i read that many had a nightmare getting an adaptor to fit from your uk 2 pin plug to a oz plug for plugging into wall.
Surely i thought this would be very easy to find or get hold of but people said ones they got the 2 pins where futher apart?
As these where not really for use in a bathroom with a normal plug if you know what i mean.
I never really thought of this when buying the electric toothbrushes from uk and really did not know it have two pin plug.
Whats your thoughts on this surely there cant be an issue here?

Cut the plug off and fit an Australian one - $2 from Bunnings

Easy peasy

I've no intention of cutting off plugs, and use my electric toothbrush via an adapter. No hassle, and my plug, at least, is a shaver type, so you'd need a shaver point adapter anyway.

I'm an electrical person. Always avoid using an adaptor wherever you can

Rewiring the plug is safer

Talk about attention span of a gnat - read your post and went off and bought an electric toothbrush! Duh! I'd probably go along with the others - unless you have a shaver socket in your bathroom, get it replugged. We have two identical but the Aus one has a plug and the UK one a shaver socket (having just revisited the Aus one on holiday made us realize the UK one has worn out somewhat hence the new brush. Thanks for the reminder!!!)

Yeah i've had a few adaptors starting to spark.

The Aussie plugs are a bitch to re-wire though. They are really small and fiddly little buggers

Seven years on an adapter and still going strong.

I'm impressed that Amazon would ship them to Aus.

I've honestly had no more issues rewiring an Aus plug than I did rewiring a UK one. Maybe I have smaller fingers than you. Adapters annoy me, if you can rewire it's got to be easier and look nicer surely?
