EEEEK - 457 nomination and visa
My husband was offered and accepted his job back in March with 457 sponsorship, with one thing and another everything seems to have been dragging somewhat - all of a sudden the migration agents/lawyers (Fragomen) the company use have been in touch and have sent all the paperwork for the application that we need to complete - they are all completed and scanned sent back to them. We also have an appointment next wednesday with a company called Cartus regarding the move etc. Apparently another company will also be in touch about the tax aspects of the move.
He has been told that once the paperwork has been sent to DIAC it will be approximately 4-6 weeks before approval is given. His current and new HR teams and managers are liaising about his end date etc, and what leave he still has to take before he transfers to the Australian arm of the company.
Its all happening now, and as we are spending 10 days in France over the spring bank holiday break the time is just going to race by. Keep your fingers crossed that we will be in Australia by end of August if not sooner - just the dog to sort out once we have some dates for travelling.

Congrats, It all happens quickly once all the paperwork is sent in.
Mine took 6-8 weeks from Melbourne due to a backlog.
