Is that the program where a hoity-toity family got to live upstairs and the rest were downstairs washing up with no detergents?

I'm pretty sure that the family came from the New Forest area. Mum was a GP and Dad had directorships (or similar) in the city. Elder son was at Uni and younger son was at or going to boarding school. Can't remember their names - think it was double-barrelled!

They've probably gone back to their old lives.

yes, thats the ones. I found some pages now. Hated that guy, he was such a hypocrite. He was so adamant that everything done had to be the edwardian way until the cook roasted him a pigs head served on a silver platter, he was soooo pissed off !!

Clouds, thunder ???? I just hope its heading north mate, its very close to 40 here, would be lovely to have either or storm or a nice southerly to end the day.
One day last summer it was in the 40's and the evening came around and a real cold southerly dropped the temp over 20 degrees, was amazing

Found this? http://www.pbs.org/manorhouse/theproject/making.html .
Program was called 'The Manor House' in the US. Family were the Olliff-Coopers!

Just had the loudest clap of thunder directly overhead, that I've ever heard.

It was pretty tame and short as far as they go NickyC although from the BOM site most of it was a bit further south over Bankstown.

It's raining here, now. Not tipping down - but quite a bit of thunder rumbling about.
