Education

What's the aussie equivalent of Offsted? We will be moving to Perth next year & looking at primary schools, however, wanting to be in the right catchment areas for high school education later.
We'd consider private but would ideally love a fab school with no fees! Our son looks set to be sports mad (a giant like his mum so perfect for rugby :) ) so that side will be as important as the academic part.
We think we'll most likely settle in the NW suburbs, so any recomendations would be helpful.

Duncraig high school seems to get the thumbs up from a few on here. I have spoken to the head at Ocean Reef primary- it certainly sounds like a fun school but don't know how it rates academically. Have you seen the cambridge meet round 3 thread? 7th Nov at the rushbrooke arms in Bury- come along!
