Does anyone know of any web sites that list schools (Primary nd secondary) in and around Brisbane.

Try www.education.qld.gov.au
It lists all schools in Queensland. You can search for schools in certain areas and also private or public. It gives you the website addresses and details of all of the schools.
I have spent hours on this site, very useful.
