Default Economic Armageddon Nears As Australian “Debt Bomb” Set To Explode

http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index1335.htm

Though Australia’s conservative opposition finance spokesman, Barnaby Joyce, had attempted to warn his fellow Australians of the collapse of their banking system, his warnings were quickly countered by Prime Minister Rudd, and as we can read as reported by the Reuters News Service:

http://www.reuters.com/article/idUSSGE61805120100209

Why, i admit highly irresponsible of Barnaby Joyce, you have to wonder how long until, not the soveriegn debt, but person debt takes a tumble?

You are not the only one. It will be interesting to see what happens to bank deposit receipts as October 2011 nears. I am not the only one who has kept term deposits to a pre-October maturity date!

From the report
A grim report prepared by the Deputy Prime-Minister of the Government of the Russian Federation, and current Finance Minister, Alexei Kudrin, for President Medvedev is warning today that the Global banking system is nearing an “Economic Armageddon” as the Australian governments “debt bomb” is “set to explode” and plunge our World into a depression “no one living has ever seen the likes of”.

[Note: In an example of how chilling it has become in the United States to even mention these things it is now being reported that citizens there now face up to 10-years in jail for even thinking against going against their government “masters”]

To how grave this situation has become was evidenced this past week when the leaders of nearly all the World’s central banks converged upon Australia for what this report says was to “write the final epitaph” for the current Global Banking System.
I assume no one here was invited to the RBA's 50th Birthday party, almost all world bank leaders got an invite.
2010 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Reserve Bank of Australia. As part of our celebrations, a high-level Symposium was held in Sydney on Tuesday, 9 February 2010.
http://www.rba.gov.au/publications/c...010/index.html

The Australian governments “debt bomb” that they quote?

Australia's sovereign debt, at 15.9 percent of GDP, is relatively small compared to levels of 20.2 percent in China, 83.9 percent in the United States and 81.8 percent in the European Union, according to the OECD.

Lindsay Tanner famously said Barnaby Joyce was the "gift that keeps on giving" to the Labour party. The guy is a numbskull. Long may her rein (in opposition that is).

I would have taken your post seriously if you hadn't linked to the website at the top of it.

There seems to have been a collective taking of mind altering drugs in this thread... is somebody saying that Australian banks could take down the global economy?!

I've heard about 'bigging Australia up' but that's taking it to extremes.

This is the type of scaremongering which causes those who know nothing to panic about something they have no idea about. Who in turn then tell all their friends to withdraw their money from savings accounts because the world is coming to and end.....who tell their friends.....who tell their friends.....soemtimes the media should just shut up for its own (and everyone else's) good
