East Ryde, Lane cove, Gladesville
Hi all,
We did our first drive round today to check out a few Sydney suburbs. We liked the look of East Ryde, Gladesville and Lane Cove, plus there appears to be some houses in our budget (always helpful!). It was also fairly easy to get to the areas from where I will be working in Pyrmont.
Anyone living in these areas? Just wondered what people thought?
Many Thanks
James and Roxanna

Hiya,
I am working in the TAFEs in that area and have been driving between them in the last few days and I have to agree that there are some great looking suburbs....couldn't tell you what they are like to live in, but certainly look very nice.

Hi James and Roxanna
Know these areas well and like them all (well most parts anyway!)
All lack rail lines but have great bus services to the CBD. House prices cheapest in East Ryde (and Ryde in general) with Gladesville and Lane Cove more exxy due to general streetscape, neighbourhoods and property types. Lane Cove is my pick, but then again I'm biased as I've seen so much property that side of town
Are you looking to rent or buy? Again, prices will vary.
