Early bird parking Brisbane
Anyone any experience of using early bird parking in Brisbane CBD?
need to start bringing car to work for 3 weeks after dropping kids at school, so won't get in until 9am ish. is there usually any early bird available by this point?

Have no idea but 9.00 am would be peak time in the CBD so I very much doubt it.

Yeah this is probably the smart move....
Drop the kids and park up near the school... jump on a train or bus... a LOT cheaper.
Where is the school in question? If you're still in The Gap and your kids are at The Gap school - then driving to Red Hill and parking might be a good compromise. Theres plenty of free, all day street parking (as long as its not 'game day' at Suncrop) - and theres a gazillion buses every hour that do the 5 minute run into the city.

Parking actually at railway stations (on the Sandgate-Caboolture lines anyway) is usually full by 7:30-8:00am, so you might have to allow a fair bit of time to walk from a street park to the station.

No childcare for 3 weeks, so wife will drop off at school drive to work in CBD, i leave work early get train to CBD, get car and go and collect them from school/daycare.
If she had to use a bus instead of a car she's not getting in until nearly 9.30am. If the car isn't near a train station it takes me longer to get the car.
Parking at Roma St seems the ideal compromise, but I'm not paying $72 a day for parking
